Event status regarding COVID-19

Due to the current projection of COVID-19 within Ontario and around the globe, we have made the decision to move our wedding date. This date change is still tentative due to the nature of this virus. However, with God’s grace we are praying that by the time summer comes around, we will see a positive change to allow us to gather together and celebrate our special day. Below are the basic questions/answers regarding the status of our wedding.

When is the new event date?
Our vow renewal date has been schedule for June 3rd, 2022.

What safety measures will the venue have for cleanliness?
The convention centre has assured us that the facility will be fully equipped with hand sanitizer in all room entrances and washrooms. As well as soap and toilet paper 😉 Everything should be cleaned for our upcoming event.

What can we do to help keep your event running smoothly during this time?
If you’ve traveled to another area by plane before our wedding, please make sure to self quarantine for up to two weeks. Basic cleanliness and hygiene are essential for reducing the spread of this virus so we ask that all guests be mindful of that leading and up to the wedding (wash your hands often, don’t touch your face, etc.).

We know that this is a concerning time for many. However, if we all do our parts to stay safe and clean, and most importantly rely on God for His great comfort, strength and provisions during and at all times, we will get through this time in a peaceable manner. Our continual prayers are for everyone to keep safe and we will continue to update this post and the website if there are any new developments regarding the status of our wedding. For now, we still look forward to our special day and celebrating it with everyone!

Love,
Genevieve & Kristoffer Ryan
